The Minister of Public Order Mr. George Voulgarakis answering to a journalist΄s question on today΄s publications referring to a certain interpretation of his statements yesterday on the case of accusations for kidnapping and questioning of foreign nationals in Greece, pointed out the following observations, among others:
¨What I had already said in the beginning is all the more valid now and I think my words yesterday have been misinterpreted. If you watch the video once again, it is more than clear that by no means do I retrieve from any stand I had taken in the past.
I have been saying this all along and I wish to be crystal clear:
There has been a general and imprecise accusation that some Pakistani nationals have been kidnapped and questioned by agents of either secret or known services in Greece.
Therefore, I, in my capacity of competent Minister, have told you since day one that such incident has never happened. […]¨
