The General Secretary of the Minister of Public Order, Leonidas Evangelidis, and the Chief of the Hellenic Police, Fotios Nassiakos, met yesterday with the Regional Minister of Public Security of Quebec, Jacques Chagnon.
During the meeting, the Canadian Official was briefed for Olympic Games security issues.
Mr. Chagnon stated that the security measures were impressive. He also highlighted the Greek Authorities` excellent preparation and he expressed his conviction that “Greece is today the safest place in the world”.
