European Union Council of Justice and Internal Affairs Ministers (Luxembourg, June 8, 2004).
Ministry of Public Order General Secretary Leonidas Evangelidis arrives in Luxembourg today along with other departmental officials in order to participate in 2,588th Council of European Union Justice and Internal Affairs Ministers, which will convene tomorrow (June 8, 2004) in Luxembourg.
Among others, the following issues will be discussed at the Council session:
- dealing with terrorism,
- combating illegal immigration,
- travel documents security,
- the EU strategy`s vis-a-vis illegal narcotics, and,
- Appointment of a EUROPOL director.
